In 1888, Dr. Allen DeVilbiss of Toledo, Ohio, developed the first nebulizer - a method of administering medications through the throat, with minimal discomfort to the patient. Today, DeVilbiss Healthcare continues to manufacture and distribute respiratory devices worldwide: aerotherapy, oxygen therapy, sleep therapy.

It is therefore very natural that Dupont Médical and DeVilbiss Healthcare merge in France and become Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare France in 2017, to create a unique healthcare offering in the world. Drive Devilbiss Healthcare France's businesses enable patients to live better.
